The concert ended up being really cool and I love their music. I was disappointed that they didn't bring any treadmills to perform their famous dance. But, at one point in the concert, the band came out into the crowd and played on a stand they set up during the concert. We just so happened to be right next to where they set it up so it was us and the band. Perfect, they are forgiven for not bringing treadmills!!
Ryan and I were a little concerned for a guy in front of us. Regular earplugs just weren't enough for him, so he must have decided to use extra large protective headphones. I wonder if he was able to hear any of the concert...
On Saturday night, Ryan and I went with a bunch of our friends to a Nationals game at the new baseball stadium that is right by the Capitol. The stadium is awesome but the Nats were struggling. The score was 0-0 until the 8th inning when the Giants scored 6 runs. As you can tell by the picture below, we were very concerned about this. That marked the beginning of the end for the Nats. So even though the Nats lost big time, we enjoyed ourselves at the new stadium!
