Lady A and Tim
Last Saturday, my two fabulous co-workers and good buddes, MJ and Missy, and I went to the Lady Antebellum and Tim McGraw concert. It. Was. Amazing.
We got really hooked up and got passes to meet Lady Antebellum, which is my favorite country band fyi. They were very, very nice and I was impressed with all of them. I was also very impressed with Hillary's very tall high heels...how do people dance around a stage in 4" peeptoe heels in front of 20,000 people? I trip in heels just walking around my office. Geez, I bet her feet hurt.

Here is the opening band, Love and Theft. They were awesome live and I now want to buy their cd, a lot.

Lady A lived up to all of my expectations and gave an awesome concert. I can't get enough of their music, I am an admitted addict.
Tim McGraw is awesome live and if you haven't ever been to a concert of his, you should go. Dish out the bucks and go. In this concert, one of his daughters came out and sang part of a song with him and it was adorable. On another song, he pulled a little girl out of the audience and twirled her around on stage, also adorable. I was completely charmed.
I couldn't have asked for a better concert and I am really glad I went with MJ and Missy because they are very cool and they danced and sang along with me and we thoroughly enjoyed watching the crazy people around us.

I give props and cheers to Love and Theft, Lady A and the fabulous Tim McGraw for giving an awesome concert.

Dear Megs...I love you
My sister has always been one of my favorite people in this world. Today, she made me cry. Megs is moving to Texas tomorrow and before she left Utah, she sent me a package. Not just any package though, she sent me a priority 2 day package. This was what was in it...
Why would that make me cry? Because it is so incredibly thoughtful and shows how well my sister knows me. Lemme explain...I LOVE donuts from Dick's Bakery in Bountiful, Utah. I worked at the hardware store next to the grocery store for a summer when I was a teenager and I think I spent my entire salary at the bakery... My love for Dick's Bakery will randomly come up in conversation and it did again last week while talking to my sister. So what did Megs do? She bought me two donuts and some of my other favorite Dick's bakery item, macaroon cookies. Then she sent them 2 day priority mail.
The donuts were a little stale but still the best darn donuts ever. What made them even better was the fact that my sister went above and beyond. Megs, you are the greatest sister ever and I love you. Thank you for always, always being there for me and for being so nice and sending me donuts and macaroons. I heart you way more than I heart these donuts and that is saying a lot (hence the reason I ate half the donut before I took a picture of it). Thank you Sister!
